From the traditional egyptian baladi and the raks sharki through to more modern influences of oriental dance, Mille et Une Nuits celebrates the imagination, the sharing and the artistic wealth of beautiful Orient.

On stage, nine dancers and eight musicians take us on a journey from Samarcande and Alep to Cordoba and Cairo on the riverbanks of these legendary countries.

A festive encounter where hip undulations, pelvis curls and hand arabesques reply to the intoxicating rythmes of the darbouka, doholah, bendir, tabla el baladi and sagates, the most popular musical instruments of Orient.
